Gautam Malkani

Gautam Malkani’s Londonstani was called an “enthralling book” and a “bold and vigorous debut” by The Independent on Sunday. Written in a mix of urban voices, the novel is an emblem of a disenfranchised generation, where young Asian men struggle to assert their brand of British identity in the face of the culture that surrounds them. Malkani is also a journalist for The Financial Times in London.
