Rohinton Mistry

Born in Bombay in 1952, Rohinton Mistry came to Canada in 1975. He has been awarded the Governor General’s Literary Award, the Scotiabank Giller Prize, the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize for Best Book, the Los Angeles Times Book Prize for Fiction, and been shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize and the prestigious Timothy Findley Award for a male writer in mid-career – to name but a few. He presents The Scream, a single story, featuring artwork by Tony Urquhart, which was originally published in a limited edition to raise funds for World Literacy of Canada.
