Ken Rivard

Ken Rivard is the author of eight previous books, including poetry, children’s literature, and short fiction. His work has been anthologized many times and has appeared in dozens of regional and national publications and on the CBC. In 2005, he was nominated for the inaugural Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Arts Awards. In recent years, Rivard has worked as Writer-in-Residence for the both the Writers Guild of Alberta and the Calgary Public Library, and has presented many writing workshops across Canada. Rivard presents Missionary Positions, a collection of interconnected short fiction that looks at everyday life in a dysfunctional workplace.
