Governor General’s Literary Award-winning writer and poet Karen Connelly is the author of such books as The Small Words in My Body, Touch the Dragon: A Thai Journal, and The Lizard Cage, which was shortlisted for both the Kiriyama Prize for Fiction and the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award. She is currently working on a book of essays set in the refugee camps and among the rebel armies along the Burmese-Thai border. Connelly is a contributor to I Live Here.
