Andrew O’Hagan is the author of the novels Our Fathers, Personality and Be Near Me. His work has appeared in the London Review of Books, New York Review of Books, New Yorker, and Guardian. In 2003, he was named one of Granta’s Best Young British Novelists. Set in the the early 1960s, O’Hagan’s latest novel, The Life and Opinions of Maf the Dog and of His Friend Marilyn Monroe, is a fascinating fictional take on one of the most extraordinary periods of the 20th century featuring the celebrities and literati of the day.
