Adrienne Clarkson came to Canada as a refugee from Hong Kong during WWII. An accomplished journalist and broadcaster, Clarkson received numerous awards during her career, was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada, and served as the 26th Governor General of Canada. Her memoir, Heart Matters, recounts her fascinating life so far.
